My work at Spinnaker TV
For the majority of my undergrad, I was involved with UNF Spinnaker, UNF's student-run news station. At the time, Spinnaker had 5 departments: News, Radio, Creative Services, Business, and TV. My freshman year I got involved and became the TV General Manager, a paid position. Spinnaker TV was my favorite part of college. I met lifelong friends, had a wonderful creative outlet and learned so much about both creating content and leadership.
Nest News
Nest News is a live weekly news show to UNF students streamed on the Spinnaker TV YouTube channel. I was the executive producer. All things production, such as scripts, graphics, b-roll, management, were my responsibility.
I was involved in 60 of these shows, the majority of which I was the executive producer. My goal with Nest News was to give everyone the opportunity to do each job. Everyone had a chance to anchor as well as produce, write, and help on the technical side.
Osprey 101
Osprey 101 was a show I created after I found it difficult to find what the dorms really looked like at UNF. The show morphed into an informational series not only showcasing the dorms, but also highlighting other campus resources.
The first six dorm videos of Osprey 101 were sponsored by UNF's Housing a Residence life, a sponsorship I helped organize and land with Spinnaker's Business Department. I filmed, edited and produced them all.
Livestreams and events
I had the opportunity to livestream a few panels held at UNF. I also coordinated a partnership with UNF's theater club to film their plays. I was in charge of live switching during the event as well as all of the logistics leading up to the plays such as scouting angles, creating equipment lists and coordinating day-of operations.
Interviews
A few times, there were people I wanted to interview myself, including UNF's president at the time. I coordinated each of these interviews.
